USMC are testing a cheap plywood drone glider for supplying ground troops

While $4500 - $11000 may not be particularly 'cheap', it's a lot cheaper than risking a cargo aircraft of helicopter, and I guess the overall cost would be reduced if the expensive bits were to be recovered and reused
