I’ve just had 2 Sikorskys, 2 police helicopters, 3 Chinook and a Pavehawk type go over at Durley in Hampshire. I assume the orange buffoon is in town or soon to be?

A few helicopters doing some exercises up and down the beach here today in Southsea, I only saw them at the last minute so couldn't wander down to see what they were up to.

Well you learn something new.... on the picture of Trump and his Mrs walking down the steps... its says Harrods Aviation.... after a quick google... turns out they have a branded Luxury Aviation Service...

Their Terminal used to be round the back of T4 @ Heathrow.
We used to do all Medical Repatriations through their, and always turned up early due to their brilliant hospitality suites!

I did some IT consultancy for them at their Luton base. Usually I wait in a crappy reception looking out of place. This time I'm waiting in a luxury airport lounge with free booze etc. It was a VERY nice place to be. I looked even more out of place.

I believe they used to flog Piaggio P180 planes as well. Ugly looking bugger that.

While he's over here they should also ask him to pay their embassies congestion charge bill, it currently stands at over £12 million.


I see he is bringing both 747s one for him and one for his offspring, or is that one for him and one as a decoy.

To be honest, I don't think the aircraft fleet accompanying Trump on this trip is any different to that used for previous Presidential overseas visits.

Trump deserves all the opprobrium that one can fling at him. However, criticise him for all the awful things he says and does and not for what are fairly normal procedures.

His entire motor cavalcade passed us on the M25 as we returned from FoS last summer.

About 20 vehicles in total if I remember correctly. A mixture of US vehicles and UK reg unmarked 5 series and X5s. The X5s were stuffed with MP5 wielding SWAT types.

Very impressive sight, if a little OTT. I have video if anyone is interested.
