Sat in the office in Banbury, something just went over, very low and very fast. Couldn't get to the window in time, but I'm assuming military! FR24 doesnt seem to show anything forces related. Can anyone shed any light please?

Could be the Red Arrows? Just speculating, as I've just seen them fly over the office here in Oxfordshire!

Might be connected to the Grand Prix, some kind of fly by rehearsal possibly?

You need 360radar!

It's currently a browser based application so it shouldn't make a difference?

The Red Arrows don't do rehearsals or practice displays the day before a display - their three types of display (to cope with different cloud bases) are practiced and rehearsed to the n'th degree over winter in the UK and in Cyprus before being signed off. Far more likely to have been an actual display or a fly past whilst in transit - members of the public can request a fly past through their website.
Here's their planned movements this weekend:

Just had a Lancaster fly over mine twice.
It did a loop of the town then flew off SSW.
It was pretty low and sounded great.
Happens almost every year.

You don't live in 1940s Germany by any chance?

Correction. Useless. I live two miles from Wattisham, and can see Apaches flying around, and yet there are NO military aircraft airborne over East Anglia according to the website and app. Oh well.

Thanks for the link smile
