North bucks, heading south west towards Oxford. Rowdy students again I suppose biggrin

Often see 1 or 2 but 5 in one go is rare around here.

Wildcat, rather than the (retired) Lynx?

We had two Wildcats at Wattisham for a while today.

Wildcat is basically a Halfords edition lynx.

2 Apaches and something else flew over us (western edge of Reading) earlier on, presumably the same ones as seen by the OP. Makes a change from Chinooks I suppose.

Too dark to see which ones but two of them just flew back together heading north east.

Those Oxford students must have been packing some AA.

One just flew over us before landing at the Sham. Might’ve come from Reading way.

1 Apache going back towards Oxford again. They are busy today.

Correction, radar says it's a Chinook ZD983, they must be sending in the marines.

Forces are doing exercises in the Forth. For another week I think.
