Quick question ...

Anyone know whether the QE or POW will be in Portsmouth at the beginning of April ?

My lad wants to see them and we have an opportunity on Mon/Tues 6/7th April to visit the dockyard and do a tour

Don’t want to go if they are def not going to be there, but if there’s a very good chance they will be then I’ll make the journey

Unlikely such information will be in the public domain until much closer to your dates.
If I were to make an educated guess I'd suggest that QNLZ might be out but PWLS might be in. This is based on nothing factual and is most likely completely wrong.

However, at the moment there are no public tours of either ship apart from the sold out upcoming festival in Liverpool that PWLS is attending (29 Feb-1st March).

Once you've had fun at the Historic Dockyard, the best way of getting up close to them while they're alongside at Portsmouth would be to take a harbour tour on one of the many pleasure boats that chug about. Then pop up to the top of the Spinnaker Tower to look down on them with your camera.
