Is the Jet Provost still in use?

It was in a red and whaite paint scheme, but I didn't spot any rondels etc, so that would explain it.

No Jet Provost ever carried "rondels". They did carry ROUNDELS though

There are a few JPs (and Strikemasters) on the civil register these days.

They RAF retired there's around 1991/92 when the Tucano entered service. The Tucano itself is being phased out now.

Was a while ago though, so not sure if still used.

There was a jet provost based at Carlisle airport up until a few years ago - I used to see it buzzing overhead. I understand it was privateer operated and you could have a paid passenger trip in it.

I've not seen it in recent years, it had a red and white livery

I’ve seen one doing aerobatics over the water near Harwich a few times, not on air show days.
Did a part of my airframe tech training on the JP back in 1981/2 at Halton. Even at that stage in my time in aviation, that Viper looked like a joke!

I was there in 2005 and they were were under sun canopies in what looked to me in a flying condition and situation.

I'm sure I remember seeing them with missiles on the wingtips??
