Last 20 minutes there has been what sounds like a large twin engined twin flying pretty tight orbits over Sheffield.

It’s low I would say no more than 2000 feet max.. it’s just flown directly overhead my house again and was the lowest yet.

Any ideas ?

It’s only taken 7 years to introduce from original commission of trial. They’ve been in the UK for a few years but on the ground due to various issues.

Yep one of my ex work colleagues is an operator who sits in the back operating cameras/radios etc.

Massive increase in loiter time over a helicopter. Cheaper operating costs.

This is what the Edgeley Optica was designed to do. Pity it didn't work out.

Appropriate 'camouflage' for night time loitering.

The Islander is very much a "function over form" design hehe

I always liked the defender in AEW fit for form over function.
