What did I see?

Just been putting the bins out and i've seen what must be a dozen lights in a row heading approx east to west over Hertfordshire.. Nice even spacing, possibly military? It almost looked like a POTUS-style airborne motorcade (no outriders i could see).
Not sure on altitude but i couldn't immediately see flashing lights so guessing "high".

Any ideas?
Wife scurried back to antiques roadshow, preferring not to know...

Also saw the ISS, which was nice.
