Seen this two days this week - Wed and today, Fri. Slow and steady, low, odd flight trajectory directly over our house to around the Stratford Olympic Park and back. Lots of times. One whole afternoon and several hours this morning.

Police or Military surveillance, or maybe environment survey?

Interesting origins for the flight this morning - looks like started over former RAF Bitteswell, but don’t believe there is a base there.

East London. What could possibly be of interest? Now where is my tin foil hat?

Enviromental survey , Ordnance survey or google maps

Could be taing off and landing on the grass. It doesnt look like it needs a long take off or landing.

Must be a trainee spy plane, it hasn't yet been cleared for using its cloaking device.

Interesting, started out from Biggin area on Wed too.

Good find on Ravenair - looks like they charter for carrying equipment and operating crew. The one pictured on their website has ‘survey’ written under one wing - the one I am seeing doesn’t.

Also on National Police Air Service - honestly didn’t know we had one.

Never seen it before over our area, but then not usually in the garden during week days. Is it a coincidence they are surveying during lockdown?

Looks like it’s gone from Biggin to circuits over Rickmansworth.

Just saw a plane from our garden in Milton Keynes and checked Flightradar and it was the aircraft in the OP. So there you at at 16:35 it was tracking north-west over Milton Keynes

Went over MK again on Sunday but much lower this time and you could clearly read the word ChemtrailSurvey underneath the wing

We need a sticky on this topic!

Nothing new here . . . been going on for years and years, normally while you're all asleep and the airspace is quieter . . .

Two factors. The weather is perfect for it at the moment. Clear skies. That, yes, is a coincidence.

Second factor, lack of other air traffic. This means the skies are pretty much theirs to do as they please with. This is caused by the lockdown (Sort of) so no, not a coincidence.

Essentially it's absolutely perfect for them in every way so they're making hay while the sun shines.
