Whilst researching details for a model boat I found this site https://www.findingyourfairey.co.uk/

Seems to be quite a new venture but could be a very focused source for anyone wanting to buy or sell in a quite specialised market.

They also say they will go find you a suitable boat.

It's called 'Finding your Fairey' but then says 'Christina, Souter, Shead, Tolcraft, Triana, Omega, or something long, skinny, super fast from Florida, or any other classic powerboat from before 1980 you might be in luck'.

Confused message. Anyway, here's hoping they can make a living from it.

Its a valid point. I didn't want to exclude anyone other than Fairey.

If I can earn half a crust at this then I'll be delighted.

Well spotted! Yes, a Huntsman 28, quite a history, once owned by William 'Billy Marsbar' Cadbury, he who had my 31 built new, that 28 was a long time in Guernsey with a lovely old boy, Tom, mooring up one day, alone onboard,he stepped away from the helm, grabbed a cleat on the pontoon with a boat hook, only to realise the boat was still in gear.....
