Air India Express 737 Runway Overrun - Kerala

Reports are coming in if an Air India Express 737 over running the runway landing at Calicut in Kerala India. Monsoon time there so possibly A flooded runway.

Initial reports indicate the aircraft has broken apart but no casualty numbers as yet.

The pictures don’t look good. Poor sods were on a repat flight that many will have waited quite a while for and spent quite a lot of money on. Only saving grace was no fire.

Air India Express seem to have a history of runway excursions.

I hear 3 dead (both pilots and a passenger)

I also heard the run way was in poor condition, might have broken up or subsided. But that is just what a friend is telling me over messaging.
