Amazing place. I was there in 2015, and I’m very jealous of you for having the opportunity to visit. When I was there, the presidential fleet was housed at a separate location and viewing was via bus trip, with booked timed tickets. No tickets were available on the day, so if you want to visit these aircraft, it might be an idea to check on their website if you can book tickets in advance.

Enjoy your trip!

Yes awesome museum. I had a 2 week work stint in Cincinnati about 10 years back and popped up usaf museum on the middle Saturday. Awesome place. 5 halls from what I remember. Each one as big as all of Dunford or yeovilton. You could spend 2 days there if you could make time.

Highlights to me were the kit in cold war hall, b29 that dropped the (2nd) bomb and a spitfire in usaf colours..

I went there years ago, the thing that struck me was how close up and personal you could get to that aircraft, compared to the enola gay in the Smithsonian

Keep an eye out for the RAF Tornado in desert pink! That surprised me when I went a couple of years ago
