What boat did I see?

Moored on the Trent at private mooring somewhere near Fiskerton.
Olive green hull, chrome vents on the sides towards the rear. Looked to be a 30s retro design. I would estimate 30 feet or so. I would describe it, based upon a fairly brief look, as a halfway between a launch and a cruiser.
The hull matched the window frames of the house of the owner!

I think that would be an excellent upgrade - very stylish:

Boaty McBalfour is only two weeks old so should get a decent trade-in price

I am obviously no expert, but it looks more the thing for mincing around a Mediterranean resort than the Trent hovering around zero.

There's probably 1,000 in the Med but you'd have the only one on the Trent... imagine the heads turning and the mouths falling open in wonder and children saying 'Look daddy!'

Well obviously there would be two in my stretch of the Trent alone. For which reason I shall not buy one.Agent 006 'James' Balfour smiled in a Bond-like manner and gunned it - straight into the bank...
