Sonic Boom over Essex?

Think Someone just went Super Sonic over Essex, Loud boom.

Any of you flight radar pro's see something fishy?

We had it over Cambridge too, appears to be a scramble out of Lincolnshire, headed south in a hurry

Eurofighter was heading south from Coningsby on adsb exchange about 5 mins ago, but vanished over Cambridge way, was well into the 1100mph range approx 40000ft, so I guess it was this one that you heard. Q000001 I think was the callsign, maybe QRA?

Poster just above! I couldn't get a screenshot in time as the position had stopped updating (guessing they'd turned off their transponder at that point) and when I clicked off the track it vanished.

I may be wrong but I believe the two QRA stations are Coningsby and Lossiemouth.

Used to be Marham but they moved to Lossiemouth, F35 is based at Marham though, surprised one of those didn't get the call - new toys and all that.

I am in South West Essex and it caught me by surprise..was wondering what could of caused it and did think it could be a fighter jet as we fall under a path where I've seen them before...didn't see anything this time!😁

That is quite unusual to go supersonic over populated areas at that height isnt it ?

Wonder what the reason was, or whether the pilot was just having some fun, should imagine that kind of trick isnt well received !
