Any love for Jane?
Discussion
My dad (ex-RN 1952 - 1964) is clearing out his stash of books as his sight is failing. Does anyone want a copy of Janes Fighting Ships 1960-1961?
It's not in good condition - some staining on the cover and annotations in the pages. It's a fascinating read - looking at how things used to be with the ex WW2 vessels operating in tandem with the newer ones. There's plenty of advertisements from long gone companies.
Free to anyone who fancies paying postage - or if anyone is in the NW we could arrange a socially distanced pickup.
I would prefer it went to someone who would enjoy it, rather than just flipping it on eBay for a quick profit.

Should it not pan out with Tango13 for any reason could I have second dibs please. My 15 year old son would find it interesting I'm sure, he is considering joining the RN after school is finished. Not sure where you are in the NW but I get up round the Chorley area regularly.
Would now be 3rd dibs, lol! but I am in a bubble with my partner in Euxton so that would actually work. Should it not pan out with Tango13 for any reason could I have second dibs please. There may be other ones in his collection but this is the first he's getting rid of. Years of naval history books so I'll see what happens with the rest of them.
