Late last year, a WW2 veteran ex-Flying Tiger pilot, celebrated his 100th birthday, by flying solo on a local flight from his airport, thus becoming the worlds oldest active pilot..... amazing

I suspect that the reaction on PH would have been different if a 100 year old had driven from London to Birmingham!

Depends who it was. Fangio, Birkin etc... but we'd want them at Goodwood not the M1.
