Early concept and assessment phase for the T45s replacement apparently based on the T26 hullform.

Which explains why the pics look like a T26 with T45 masts on top.

Presumably by utilising existing design infrastructure this will allow for some time and cost savings - I suppose the big question is would the footprint be big enough for a destroyer capability as in my (somewhat limited) experience the frigates would tend to be smaller
