Just wanted to see if anyone had been to this event before?
Thinking about going Saturday, it's only £20 a ticket and has a few interesting displays.
Lots of aerobatics but also a typhoon, hurricane, spit, buschon and one of my favourites, the fiesler storch - only seen that display once and it was fascinating.

I haven't been but would like to!

I went to O/B Saturday as my dad and brother were on an old bike run that stopped there for lunch, so we went along to say hello. I was amazed what a lovely little airfield it is! The cafe was nice, it was really well kept and just had a nice feel about it.

Annoyingly we're busy this weekend, otherwise I'd have definitely been looking at tickets. I'll be interested to hear how you get on, if you do go smile

I went for most of Saturday. Really good day. I was really surprised by the "one and a half" planes bit. The idea that someone had built a 40% identical scale model of their plane sounded like a semi - interesting diversion, but when said model is doing aerobatics that looks like things that just shouldn't be allowed by physics, it really was something else.
Add in the fact that the REAL plane was doing exactly those moves right next to it, seemingly feet apart was astonishing!
