I wonder if anyone can offer some words of advice on booking a flight experience or some lessons for my partner in and around the North East of England. There are a few companies operating in Newcastle and Durham and I've had a read at some reviews, some positive and some not so.

I wonder if anyone has any experience good, bad or just some views really.

What sort of flying does she/you plan to do? Just that a NPPL microlight licence (up to 600kg takeoff weight) could be enough, cheaper, and more fun

There a super airfield at Fishburn near Sedgefield. I think they do experience flights/training there. It has a brilliant airfield cafe too.

Sorry for the lack of updates I should've been sorting this out during the weekend but err.... (insert excuse for lack of organisation)

Thanks for the recommendation dodgepot, have you had any experience with them?

Yes I did think about that and every time I watch that scene in You Only Live Twice it makes me want to fly a microlight. However it's not for me but my partner had some experience years ago doing some basic flying lessons so hence the train of thought.

The photo of the breakfast would've sold that but cant find much in the way of details for the flight school.
