I’ve seen a NOTAM and a TRA for 5nm around Portsmouth Harbour for these dates. Any idea what the occasion is? The best we can come up with is a big shindig for the return of The QE perhaps.

Not for Queen Liz return.
She's in Singapore at the moment, and is still due to visit S.Korea and Japan yet before returning to UK end of Nov, early Dec.

Thanks for that. No Idea then! Odd that it’s on two consecutive days, midweek. Maybe they’ve listed both to cover weather contingency?

Their schedule just says “display” on both days, normally it says why it’s for but I couldn’t see any occasion either.

Thankyou, looks like I’m going to have a cracking view from my house, IF the weather cooperates.

We were right in the firing line. Not bad for a freebie, and the front that’s just smashing it down with rain now, shows that they just about squeaked the display in.
