Anyone identify this bomb trolley
Discussion
This item is for sale at a reclamation yard near me with a £800.00 asking price, I’ve not been able to see it yet due to commitments but the seller claims it’s a WW2 Bomber command 1000lb bomb trolley used on Lancasters.
Bomber command is a hobby of mine and it’s a type I’ve never seen before I’m actually at the old RAF Hemswell as I type this with friends who don’t recognise it either anyone any ideas ?

Heritage aside, that strikes me as very strong money!
I couldn’t agree more matey I’ve yet to find out if there are any markings and so on but £800.00 is an awful lot ……now if it had some provenance ie….this item was used to load the last Mosquito flight by Guy Gibson of Dambusters fame or such like then maybe just maybe to the right person..Big Rat said:

Defiantly not for transporting bombs.
Start at minute 6:15 for all the bomb types and their transporters.

It would be a cracking design for dropping ordnance onto its nose. Probably why so rare.
And probably used only once
they made 2 of them, this is the other one
