Nice bit of nostalgia of that lovely old bird, but also contains other topics, parachuting, air race, sea planes, so not a bad way to spend 48 mis.

Would loved to have flown in it. The closest I got was the one at Brooklands and I did hear one take off as I was sitting in another plane at Heathrow... happy days...

I still miss the old pocket rocket......luckily I got to see it a lot, having grown up in West London living under the flightpath of R23, and also spent quite a few years working at LHR in the 80's and then again in 2003 during it last 6 months of service.
