T-346A down during testing
Discussion
As per title, a T-346A went down not really far from here -on the north part of Lake Como- around 11:30 this morning.
Both crew apparently ejected, one pilot survived, unfortunately the second, reportedly a British test pilot, didn't.
According to the first reports, the plane was new and being tested before being handed over to the Italian air force. Witnesses talk about "a fireball" in the sky moments before hitting a mountain at about 2.600 m altitude.
Deepest thoughts for the family of the pilot
