First time I’ve seen these boys. Bravo. Apologies for poor image. Finished with a Yin Yang too.

Just been watching some of their display. They were keeping it very high but I bet the airshow committee will ask them to change some of it.

They’ll have Weds & Thirsday to practise before a proper display on Friday at RIAT

Saw the 2 practice displays at Boscombe Down last week.

They also have a nice routine when they arrive back in Wiltshire after a display.

We’ve met some of the crews who are staying locally during their stay in the UK, they’re really friendly unassuming guys.

Watched them for a bit today. Pretty slick. Not quite as tight as the Arrows, and definitely flying higher and slower than the Arrows, but a very welcome sight. Wish I still worked at Boscombe Down to see them depart and return every day!

Still not sure why they thought it was easier/cheaper to take them apart and bring them over in Hercs, rather than transit them over. Although with a c.1000 mile range on the T-50 I guess that's a lot time and fuel stops, with perhaps not enough friendly states to stop over in.. so probably answered my own question!

Why? Safety? Good/bad taste?

Airshow flying is very restricted now at Farnborough.

A Hungarian Saab Grippen has just flown over South Kent, looks to be headed to RIAT.
