I went to RIAT on Saturday and it was great, it did however make me wonder how the small international based planes and helicopters get across to us, do they fly with regular refilling stops or do they pack them up and cargo them?

Regular refuelling stops, I watched a few come over from the EU via ADS-B on Weds/Thursday last week, their range is larger than you’d expect, a Wildcat has a range well over 600kms

I was wondering what journey must be for the Korean Black Eagles to fly to/from the UK.

The Black Eagles jets came over in transports, then based themselves at Boscombe for their time over here. 3 weeks to rebuild and flight test them all.

They were at Southport Airshow the other week, but I think the Korean Hercules came over this week so assume they are going back now
