Could someone either explain or direct me to somewhere that explains why there are a couple of Buccaneers and a Canberra at Kemble / Cotswold - they look parked as if ready to fly but do they ? TIA

The Buccaneers moved up from Bruntingthorpe when the airfield was leased to Cox Automotive.

They came in by road.

The Bucc's have been explained above.

The PR.9 Canberra's were owned by the Mid-Air Squadron, and the silver one, XH134 was airworthy on the airshow circuit back in the mid 2010's and they also owned a couple of airworthy Hawker Hunters as well, but the company went in receivership at the end of 2015. The Canberra hasn't flown since, and likely now never will fly again, which is a huge shame.

Here's a photo I took of the MidAir team Canberra PR.9 with their two silver two-seat Hunters during their display at the Goodwood Revival back in Sept 2014.
