What the hell was this over London?

Very loud formation just flew over my head, fairly low, in SW London heading towards LHR.

I heard two of them, this was the second one

A few years ago when the parade was really impressive and as they flew along the King's Road Chelsea my wife was asked by some Americans about it - she replied: coup - the look on their faces was priceless !
