A pair of B2's have not long arrived at Fairford.

Ah, so that's what I heard around 2300 last night. I could hear something decidedly "military" flying over Brize but couldn't see anything, and given the runway here is closed for repairs, I figured it was something going into or out of Fairford. I'm not surprised they weren't on ADSB if they were B2's!

Didn’t see or hear them myself but there’s a few photos of them going overhead on local Facebook groups.

They’re not there currently, they came in, fuelled up and left about 11pm, however, rumour has it, they’re doing the same again tonight.

Keflavik.

Apparently they stopped at Fairford for fuel due to unavailability of tankers.

Stealthy, innit? hehe

Probably an exercise rather than Operation "Put The st Up The Russians"; the range of these things with tanker support means they can bomb most of the globe and not have to land away from Whiteman or wherever they're based these days.

That might be the first footage captured of B-2's doing a 'hot-pit' refueling, as the engines have been left running.......so the military version of a motorsport splash n dash smile

Hoping this is long planned/routine and not something related to the current Israel situation.

I would assume long planned, as the Kalita 747's bringing in equipment etc., from Dyess, arrived at Fairford a week before the nastyness kicked off in Israel.
