The BBC appears to have placed it's sound effects library online. I'm posting here as it has good quality audio of various interesting aircraft landing/taking off etc. A treasure trove - Now I know what a Fairy Rotodyne sounds like!

That’s very cool (the Rotodyne, not the monkey fart )

Also a 26-ship Lightning flypast in there as well as a selection of sonic booms.
