Something loud just flown over Sheffield at 18:10 couldn t see it on ads-b exchange or air nav.

There was a Beluga around the same time but it was at 26k … See that pretty often and it doesn’t sound that loud.

I live on the flight path to Hawarden (Airbus broughton) where the Beluga lands 2 or 3 times a day.
Flys directly over my house at about 1500ft.
Yes you can hear it, but wouldnt say its loud really.

Hello wizards!

On the "what was that" front.

A big military (?) plane with four propellor engines (maybe) and a long probe at the front flew over the A14 just west of Cambridge about 10.40 yesterday. (18th February)

It was neither descending or ascending....just flying very very low!

Probably a RAF A400M Atlas.

It was loud enough to rattle my living room windows and prompt me to run outside like a nutter.

No way was it that beluga at 26k it was def military.

Just coincidence that those F22’s landed at Lakenheath about 20 mins later did they transit through Prestwick ?
