Farnborough public airshow, Friday 24th July

I used to run a pub in Southwood (literally at the edge of Farnborough Airport grounds.
Used to LOVE the airshow fortnight, not just for the extra business it brought in but we had a first class seat to the displays which, oddly, they weren't allowed to do over the airfield but was fine to do over a very large and very posh housing estate!
Finest memories:
A South African Airways 747 doing things that a 747 really shouldn't be able to do.
The introduction of the Eurofighter
The Saab Gripen
An F16 during practice week when I was on the phone to a supplier putting my beer order in when he asked if I was outside watching it..... I was IN the pub
Great times.
