Right, as Ive bought my lottery ticket for friday Im obviously going to win (you can all keep buying tickets though, I dont want you opting out and limiting my jack pot). Anyway I was having a think about what Im going to buy, obviously theres the run of the mill supercars, massive houses and wally power yachts but I want something else.

As the title states I shall be wanting to buy an f-15 fighter jet for weekend blats. Now I have a horrible feeling that as theyre still operational the yanks wont want to sell me one and I wont be able to paint one up like Starscream from transformers so if thats not possible Ill settle for an f-14 and relive out some Top Gun antics. (Id obviously have enough change for a gpz if I have to go for the f-14 over the f-15)

So, anybody got any ideas how I go about this? Id like to get a running start on Saturday when I get my £100,000,000.00

Which particular version of the F15 do you fancy?

I suspect the E-block "Eagle" configuration would be awesome.

There was a MIG-29 that went on fleabay a while back. Think the Chinese chappy that bought it was having problems importing it into the Big Red State; he might be up for a quick sale. wink

Personally, I'd settle for a Douglas DC-3 and a small overgrown, tropical island somewhere so I can re-enact childhood dreams of Hardy Boys adventures. hehe

As my Great Aunt used to say, "I want, doesn't get!"

I want a(n) Eurofighter! I also want to be 3 years younger so I can become a pilot and an intact skull too!

Spitfire (neeeeooooow dakkadakkadakka), Dakota (polished alloy, flames painted on the tail) and a Concorde please. That may mean buying out British Airways first though.

I'd settle for an F-86 Sabre or an F4U-Corsair.

...and people say I have Champagne tastes on a beer budget..

Spitfire for me. Once I've bought a house with grounds big enough to have a grass-track landing strip.

And a white scarf permanently set to a jaunty angle.

You could find a rouge state that is skint and buy a few off them , then buy your bird from them. I would love an Apache.

like your thinking [is it really £100mill this week??] but i'd save some pennies and go for soviet hardware. a shiny new su-27 can be had for $35m so i'll take a 2 year old one that some other mug has taken the depreciation hit on. sprayed black metallic pearl with tan leather interior smile

i also want one of these:

F-14s are probably rotting in the desert. Doubt the yanks will sell you a F15E...

..but the ruskies will sell you absolutely anything. Su-37 and a carrier please.

Do you think a stealth fighter is so stealthy it could avoid taxes and speed cameras?

If so I know where my money is going.

The money I am clearly due to win that is.

That Soko Eagle thing.
I don't think i would be willing to sit in it on the ground, never mind try breaking the sound barrier in it.
