Read Apache Dawn a book about the Brits learning to fly these & going into war with them. Fantastic book & lacks the gung ho bit as you'd expect of brits in the battlefield.CatherineJ said:

I'd second that - I was out in the TVR a few weeks ago on the Wilts/ Hants border and above the noise of the engine I heard a rumble - it took a few seconds of wondering what had fallen off the car before I realised that the rumble was an Apache right over head - impressive looking piece of kit!Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
