So theres an old military jet for sale beside the A41 south of Whitchurch.

I've no idea what it is but it's got a T-Tail and "D" shaped intakes on the side of the body/start of the wing. So it's not a Buckaneer....

Any ideas?

It's an old Communist Bloc Aero L-29 Delfin - built in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s and 1960s.They were used extensively by Warsaw Pact countries during the Cold War and many were sold into private hands in the 1990s.

I saw that a couple of weeks ago too.
Just near where my Ultima is being rebuilt.

Wonder if it actually flies...

Could be OK for running from police helicopters.
