So I'm sitting at home on Sunday and I hear a train whistle from Plymouth station at the end of my street, sticking my head of the window I see a puff of smoke heading south into Cornwall, "I wonder what that was?" me thinks and I get on with my day.

Many hours later I hear the same whistle so I pop up to the end of the street and what should I see but...

Yeah, watching it power away spinning up the wheels was pretty impressive, I've got a vid somewhere I'm just uploading too.

Very funny seeing on a main line as well right next to the HST stuff.

Was in Dawlish this afternoon, sat outside a cafe by the green about 50 yards from the station. Heard a whistle blow then Tornado thundered through with a dozen or so carriages in tow - really impressive sight!

Wish I'd had my camera with me though...
