Visit to Leith Harbour

Time for my other passion away from aviation!

I popped down to Leith this morning to see the Funchal and had a great day exploring the area looking for some good photo spots! Leith is notoriously difficult for pictures with Forth Ports, the owners quite anal about photography. I probably arrived about ten minutes later than I would have liked as the Funchal was just being pushed and pulled by the tugs, however, I was treated to some 'dancing' and a wave from the Captain of the Roseberry Cross as it was arriving back at the dock side. The Funchal really is a great looking liner!

That crane could have been hired by the company I work for to lift a carousel onto one of our fleet vessels. We keep and maintain a lot of plant in Leith.
