blimey!
all that AND a d.h Venom
great pictures, from here it almost feels as if I was there
some really iconic and unusual planes too, twenty years ago who'd have expected a P40 at a Brit air display ever
Thanks for going for me
again, great shots on a day the light must have conspired against you

TBH the light wasnt an issue, the n00b behind the camera (me) was the issue as I didnt have a clue regarding settings, I just pressed a could of buttons and twirled the twirly thing, got the plane in view and blammo, got it

What is the name of the aircraft in the first two photos? Remember when I used to go gliding at sealand; we knew it as the beluga, is that the correct name?
Glider ops were postponed 15 minutes either side of it's arrival/departure - apparently the wake from the aircraft could flip one of our flimsy gliders over due to it's size..!

Yup, that's the Bulaga....used to transport x2 A340 wings to Bremen, Germany for assembly of leading edge, 'D' nose & control surfaces before moving to Toulouse, France for assembly to fuselage.Glider ops were postponed 15 minutes either side of it's arrival/departure - apparently the wake from the aircraft could flip one of our flimsy gliders over due to it's size..!
Unfortunately the Gliders are no more at Sealand.......sadly they went a few years ago.
