Okay, so we're about to head into London to see a show, so I thought I'd better check the tube lines are running! Needless to say, I now have a lot of walking ahead of me today...

What on earth is going on? And who seriously thinks its acceptable to close almost half the network on a saturday! This can't be doing the tourist industry any good.

Rather than an enjoyable day in london I'm now expecting complete chaos, as I need to use either the Victoria or Circle lines and they're both shut!

I've used undergrounds in other cities (Munic, NY, Barcelona) and they all work so well (and are cheap, NY is $1 to go anywhere!) Why oh why do we have to put up with this!!!

Every time I go up to London on the weekend, about 75% of the time, either some of the tube lines or overground lines are out.

Last weekend I went to Twickenham. My train instead of going to Fenchurch Street was diverted to Liverpool Street.

Not a problem, but when catching a train back from Embankment I had to wait for 3 trains before I could get the one back to Liverpool Street.

It is not good the way a big chunks of the lines are closed on the weekends.
