RAF out and about today?

Probably a long winded question!? Something has just come over my house very low , and very loud!

I love to see jet fighters , but i just missed the bugger(s)!

Sounds like it departed Cosford and was on its way West . Anyone know what it was?

Nowt fast uses Cosford I don't think. May have taken off from shawbury? I saw 4 harriers banking over Bromsgrove on Friday made me feel 10 again!!

ETA they were "banking" not baking!

No way it was Shawbury mate , it was headed from Cosford direction toward Shawbury sort of way , I live more-a-less in between both.

My brother thinks it was an F-15

You should come over to my house, i Live in the yorkshire dales, specifically near harrogate, and we usually get 4 jags/harriers, loads of propeller training planes, a couple chinooks and the odd C130 buzzing our house every day.

We happen to live in a valley, and our house is about 2/3 the way up, and half the time you're looking down on them as the scream through the bottom of it

Oh and the C130's have a habbit of shaking everything in the house as they buzz past

There's a lot of activity today in my area.

Around 10am 6 Lynx helicopters flying in a line headed toward Shawbury

4 Harriers headed north and most unusual

2 Sentinels with 4 fighters i could not identify , circling around in splendid different formations. If anyone spots them?

My brother has just spotted them in his Transit.

4 Typhoons and 2 Sentinels . They are headed to North Wales now

The 6 lynx came over Yate around 9.30am, heading north.
Queenie is touring Glos today, but I doubt thet's got anything to do with it.
