My father-in-law is looking to sell some stuff to raise funds.

He has a few thousand books (mostly on ww2 era aviation), quite a few first editions and quite a few signed by authors/pilots. He's also got a lot of signed photos and pictures (sigs include Churchill, Bomber Harris and various pilots including Douglas Bader).

The collection also includesd various aircraft parts, original flying helmets and an ejector seat (from a Canberra IIRC).

Any suggestions of where he could try to sell it? Ebay?

Cheers
Iain

Maybe he should contact one of the recognised auction houses rather than trying pot luck on e-bay.

Never having used such organisations, I can't "recommend" any specifically.
I would assume people like Bonhams and Christies are the best placed for this type of memorabilia.
