Coming from general direction of London past my house (Whitstable, Kent) towards Manston(?)

One flew straight on, the other did a tight 360 degree circle over the harbour and carried on.

Used to see all sorts of military jets over West Wales in my youth, but this was unusual to say the least.

One flew over me when I was in Portland, which I thought was purely navy, so maybe he was just on a jolly.

Not necessary - you can bring them down with a pocket torch apparently.
