And tell them they are props and they will think they're Bears.

BBC said:
is a collection of over 4,000 retired aircraft including nearly every plane the US armed forces have flown since World War II.
Not even close to nearly every plane.

Looks they have been shown the error of their ways (or they read PH). They have changed it now from E3A Sentry to the correct Hawkeye tag on the 3rd picture.

This begs the question, surely there must be one of these in Russia as well for their part of the treaty?

All the Tomcats have gone having been turned into bake bean tins.

It's been possible to see AMARC for years on Google Earth, yet more lazy reporting.

(If you want to see something REALLY impressive, search for photos of the place taken after WW2. Amazing sights)

cool just to see those F1-11s on the ground. i used to love it when they came into Filton airfield for maintenance work. my old man would take us to watch them leave in the evening, must have been a good twenty years ago now! best plane ever for noise and adrenalin!

Have been to Davis Monthan twice, first time did a bustour around the whole place, second, flew over it in a Cessna. Got loads of photos but it was so long ago that it was before digital cameras.

Yes there are. They go from the Pima Air and Space Museum (across the road from Davis-Monthan) on weekdays only, 2 or 3 times per day. Google their website - all the info is on there. The commentary you get on the bus is a bit naff if you already know a bit about what you're looking at, but if you find the time afterwards to chat to any of the Docent guides it can be worth the effort.
