RIB-Ex Show This Weekend Cowes, IOW

Hello,

Anyone going to Rib-Ex this year? It’s a RIB show in Cowes, Isle of Wight for those of you who haven’t been before. I’ll be working on the BHG Marine stand on the Avon Adventure 580 (my own boat) Zodiac Enzo and the Ribtec 655 doing demos through the weekend. If anyone from here is going be sure to come and say hello (and buy me a pint!)

Hi Dan

I only picked this up today....... I was at the Ribex show. I left feeling a bit unimpressed to be honest, it was very hard to get the attention of any of the exhibitors and I got the feeling that they really didn't want to sell Ribs! I was keen to see the Humber Sports Pro 1000, I've subsequently emailed Humber - zero response. Not impressed!

Oh dear! Not a good response!

It was a horrible weekend, especially for us exhibitors, it was freezing cold, raining all the time and there were hardly any customers there at all. A bit uninspiring and soul destroying really! I would have been happy to speak to someone genuinely interested in the boats.

Never dealt with humber directly. Good luck....

Was supposed to be working this but I've been off ill due to a hernia operation.

This event was a really good weekend. They should try and use Ocean Village a lot more.
