Eric!!! Aircraft ID required please............
Discussion
One maybe for Eric, but anyone can dive in if they wish.
At around 20:30 this evening, I saw an "odd" aircraft on the loop round towards Farnborough - I live in Aldershot.
Any ideas based on the following description?
Narrow pencil shaped fuselage.
Stubby square ended, non swept wings "quite far back" - I'd say in the last 2/5ths of the fuselage.
2 props, at the midpoint on each of the wings.
Very short stubby, square ended, non swept canards right on the nose.
High tailplane with horizontal control surfaces at the top of the fin.
I do see quite a lot of the traffic arriving/departing Farnborough, but have never seen one of these before.
And also is there a web site that will help me to identify an aircraft by answering questions about the look of the aircraft???
I seem to think I've seen one before but can't find it now....
Cheers,
Steve

Cheers magpie - I just found that as well - Piaggio P-180 Avanti.
Google search for 2 turboprops square wings front canards high tailplane and the second hit pointed me at that aircraft.
I have to admit, I'd "just assumed" that the were pull props and hadn't noticed that they were push!!
Fairly sure that was it though.
In fact I should have thought of this first....

PH-DLN is the reg, although the times appear out, although it may have been out and back in again, I suppose.
Cheers!!!
