Hi,

I have a RIB and it spends all it's time in the Solent, Christchurch or Poole. However, at the weekend my girlfriends' parents moved to Mylor in Cornwall and we thought it would be nice to book a week off and tow the boat down there to use for a week.

I've arranged to launch it at Mylor Yacht Harbour and then leave it in the water there for the week. I was wondering if anyone had a Garmin g2 Vision (or just plain g2) chart that covers Cornwall that they could lend me for some beer tokens for a week during July? Might be an odd or cheeky request but I don't want to spend £160 on another chart which I'll only use for a week. I'll happily leave £160 or my Solent and the Channel Islands chart as a deposit and will reward you accordingly.

It's a GPSMap 4008 so it will need to be on SD or micro-SD. I could probably do without one but I've never been to Cornwall on the boat before so it would be nice to have some charting for that area.

Thanks,

Dan

Just checked this online - you can get the 'G2 Vision' UK, Ireland and Northern France for £59 delivered.

Or is it a 'special' type you're after?

£59?!

The retail on that chart is £299 as it's a large. I was just after a small chart for the West Country which retails at £159. Can you give me a link?

Thanks,

Dan

That's ridiculous! Must be pirate copies. We can get Garmin gear through work and the cost price is still way over £200! Thanks for the link BTW.
