anyone any knowledge on mainships 34/new 35 or the new beneteau swift trawler 34.always had sports boats but thinking of stepping up and cruising the med for a bit.want somthing really economical and that can handle a bit of rough(bit like the g/f).speed and twin engines not so important.open to your ideas oh wise ph'ers.

IMHO expect a lot of rolling around in a trawler this small with a single engine, the med can get quite rough and these catch the wind.
I'd consider something like a Cranchi Saffiro 34 or 38 where you'll still get two cabins below but with two engines and less topside a lot less rolling around. Been there.... !!
