Red Arrows over London

Sitting in my office near Old Street, I just heard a bunch of fast(ish) jets go over – turns out it was the Red Arrows going over in formation, red white and blue smoke on. That saves me going to an airshow this year

Does anyone know what the flypast was for?

I am led to believe that they each had a cadet on board too!
