Morning all,

It seems there are a few yachties from Lymington round here.

We are going to visit some friends and spend the day pottering around the Solent.

I'd like to surprise them with a decent meal somewhere! Which are the best places to eat in the town within a reasonable distance from the Haven?

I thank you!

Easy... Egans (tel 01590 676 165)... best food in Lym by far... but make sure you book WELL AHEAD as they are usually booked solid.

you can walk from the grothaven and take in a pre-dinner drink or post-dinner cocktail (or 3) across the road at Graze

rofl @ Grothaven!

What is it you don't like about it? Apart from it's the one that you don't work at in a town of two?

Egans noted by me too though, ta.

get them to take you for a walk around the back of the haven (out passed the rear carpark) and watch the ferries etc.
Does Mrs Cambell still own the little cafe/resturant? I had a Bluebird model signed from her smile

Shops are generally quiet dire but there is a HiHo silver at the bottom of town
