Motor Sailing schools in the Solent area
Discussion
So if a chap wanted to get to grips with motor sailing and learn to drive some serious sportscruisers, who/ which are the best RYA registered schools in the Solent that can introducing Mrs TS and I to the scene and take us down the road toward having our own boat? Up until now I have only had a few corporate jollies on Squadron 55's and stuff, but enough to make me think this is worth looking into.
I'd hope to be able to learn in something really cool - it would definitely make it more attractive to SWMBO and make me feel pretty good too. I am working on the idea that owning a nice sportscruiser with a couple of double cabins would be more interesting than a holiday flat on the south coast. I need to sell it to senior management however...having the latest magazines with boat porn in them around the house is starting to work. She has taken an interest and could be open to the idea !
Any pointers to a well equipped training outfit with a suitable steed would be welcome. No doubt that in RYA training schools ( as in all areas of life ) there are bad ones, average ones and truly great ones - so any personal knowledge that can reveal which are the best operators would be really useful.
I Thank You

There is http://www.prestigepower.co.uk/index.html too.
I worked with Paul Hay over 20 years ago before he started Prestige Power, good bloke, very good at training people.
I'd say either him or Mendez as per my first post, both are reccomendations that I can make personally from knowing both well over the years.
