Southampton Boat Show
Discussion
I was there yesterday but only just saw your post, sorry.
HMS Dauntless impressive piece of kit although you're obviously only allowed to see a fairly limited amount of it once you finally get on board. No bathing platform but space for a helicopter instead of a dinghy tender on the back so not too shabby!
Interestingly enough, whilst I was waiting in the queue a nice young lady was trying to persuade me to sign-up to train in the south of France for a week to become a broker. As attractive as both she and the proposition were, I'm sure there must be slightly more to it than that!

The only address mentioned is Winchmore Hill though. No mention of Cap d'Antibes!

Went for a stroll around yesterday - timed it well with the weather! Stand out boats for me were the Nordia 65 and Bordeaux 60, both absolutely beautiful. Thought the Beneteau Sense 50 was nice, but will surely have a limited market and the Bavaria 55 is a hell of a lot of boat for the money! All in, a great day out but like PnM, could've done without the drive back to Yorkshire last night. Liverpool boat show next year will be handy though.
